I was born in Hereford, grew up all over the place, and now I’m here.

I don't believe in restricting creativity therefore I like to photograph a range of different subjects which in turn enhances my experiences and keeps me creative. I'm a hobby lover and always found new things to keep me occupied from playing the harmonica to riding a unicycle, there was lots more, trust me! Photography is the new that has stuck, as of 2025 it would have been 14 years exploring the art of photography. If you don't include the thousands of hours spent watching YouTube, I'm entirely self taught!

I've been fortunate to have travelled with my wife, spending time in Asia, South Pacific, Indonesia, Thailand and New Zealand, not forgetting the trusty old Toyota Hiace campervan we lived in for 2 years while driving around Australia.

I like to grab my gear and head out, mostly on unplanned spontaneous trips, it could be up the road somewhere local, or a weekend away somewhere further afield.

I’m really getting into large format photography using an 8x10 intrepid camera with some direct positive paper for a project I have underway.
